Messianic Jewish Congregation in Israel. This is what Yad L’Achim find so dangerous and objectionable and feel is a threat to the very existence of the State of Israel!!!
Yep. this looks pretty dangerous to me. Should be plenty incriminating. A little shaky at times, but you can make out the faces pretty well. Overall, it’s good enough quality for a Shtreimel Cam, though.
If I remember correctly, this is a mixed Jewish and Arab congregation with an Arab Pastor. Perhaps Yad L’Achim are frightened because they see a genuine peace between Jews and Arabs in the Messiah that their hateful behaviour cannot produce?
Wow. Very cool if that’s right. And that’s a great theory, too. I would imagine that, on any given day, Yad L’Achim sees many believers worshiping G-d and living Torah life outside of their tyrannical system. That has to be very frustrating for folks like them. We all know from basic history that when people in control feel that control waning it can cause them to behave very erratically. Fear elicits some incredible reactions within the mind.
Still, I wonder if this is a mixed Jewish/Arab congregation, why is there no Arabic on the screen during the songs?
Yeah the minister there is an Israel Arab called Shmuel Awaida with mostly Messianic Jews in the congregation, other congregations in Haifa that are a more 50/50 mix of Jews & Arabs.
Baruch HaShem! That’s awesome! I’m tremendously blessed just to hear about it. G-d’s hand is marvelous in the earth!
Most Arabs in Haifa will speak Hebrew, the two communities get along well in Haifa. In fact many Arabs speak better Hebrew than a lot of Jews do.
But it is true, that only in Y’shua is there a real answer to the enmity between Jew and Arab, I have many precious Arab brothers and sisters in the Messiah. Traditional Judaism out here has no real answer to the enmity other than to expel the Arabs or kill them, to put it bluntly.
Heh, what a coincidence. I actually asked the following question at the end of this post:
What is it exactly that groups such as Yad L’Achim are so terrified of?
Whoa spooky coincidence Stuart
