This is New Testament theologian Dr Darrell Bock, who has written many theological articles about God’s covenant relationship with the people of Israel:
Dr Bock spoke at the first Christ at the Checkpoint conference in 2010.
Viola Larson writes:
Dr. Bock, please forgive me for being off topic. I wanted to get a hold of you because you spoke at Christ at Checkpoint Conference. You can disagree, and probably will, a lot with me but I had some questions. First you should know that I am not a Christian Zionist, I am reformed. But I have spent a life time writing against anti-Semitism. I once wrote an article on “Christian Identity” for Christian Research Journal. I am concerned about some of the speakers at Christ at the Checkpoint. I have written one posting: http://naminghisgrace.blogspot.com/2011/11/liberation-theology-or-christian.html I have others but that covers what I want to ask you-how do you feel about the speech by Mitri Raheb and did anyone protest?
From Dr. Bock – so far, silence.
Update:
Viola Larson writes:
Dr. Bock did respond to me. I did not expect him to respond on his blog.

Actually I did reply to her. I noted that I came in for one day to speak at the Conference and argue for Israel’s right to the land at the conference and take questions. So I did not hear the other addresses other than one by Lynn Hybels. The implication I did not reply and respond is simply wrong and misrepresents what took place.
Dr Bock
Thanks for clearing that up, we will add it in.
Knowing what you know now about racism and antisemitism at Christ at the Checkpoint, would you attend another one of their conferences?

I think it would be kind if you would at an update at the top of your article since Dr. Bock did respond to me. I did not expect him to respond on his blog. And I just now saw this or I would have spoken sooner.
Sorry I meant add.
